Why the name Designers Room?

It was a choice between D- Room or Designers Room and I guess Designers Room won. It was hard to think of a name and I was shocked to see the name available.

Three things you’ve learnt since you opened your own company.

You need a lot of patience, a positive mindset and make time for down time!

What do you do in your spare time?

Football. Everything Football.

What was the last thing you treated yourself to?

An E-Bike. I came to work on it this morning.

Who is your role model?

Steven Gerrard.

Your favourite Brand to buy from?

Apple

Who was the last person you texted and what did it say?

I’ve just sent a text to my friend Brandon to ask where he is in the world?

If you were invisible for the day, how would you spend it?

I would spend the day following around Prince Harry and Megan, they seem such a fun, relaxed couple. I’d like to see how the Royals spend their time.

The last book or news article you read?

The Political Gain of Labour. Financial Times.

Your all-time favourite country you have visited?

Dubai. Definitely 

What is your dream holiday destination?

I can’t decide between Cuba and Tokyo. 

Where would you like to be in 5 years time?

In an international City Centre office staring out of my office at the view. I’d also love to have a family ideally in five years time.

Which software are you trained in yourself?

Actually, although I have a creative mind, surprisingly I am not fully trained in design softwares such as Illustrator and Photoshop. I can use 3D modelling softwares and have created many models in the past.

What is your biggest fear?

Animals. Unfortunately 

Favourite Christmas song?

Micheal Buble, it’s beginning to look a lot like christmas

If you could get a tattoo, what would it be and where would it go?

I would get YNWA tattooed on my knuckles

Do you have a pet peeve?

Yes. I hate crisps and dislike people eating crisps around me.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m a good cook but I don’t get much of a chance to showcase my talents in the kitchen.

What is important to you in a relationship?

Trust is key. In both business and personal relationships.  

Finally, Mo, if you could give one piece of advice to someone wanting to start their own business, what would it be?

Don’t think, just do! You’ll never know until you try, and overthinking can be a downfall.
